Just wanted to let you know that we really had a great hunting season this year. We are
really looking forward to next year at Barnett's Cabins. Must thank you for the
thoughts and prayers. I have had quite a visit at the Leahey Clinic (15 days) but
the doctor says I'm cancer free. Almost wiped me out but I'm on the heal now.
Hope the winter is not to hard and cold.

Just a line to let you know how much we enjoyed our stay at your camps. We also
wanted you to know how much we appreciated the time you spent with us showing us places to
hunt. As you know it worked well and we had our bull at 8:05 A.M. on the first day
of the hunt. Hope to see you again in 2009!

As one who has been coming to Barnetts Cabins for nearly 50
years, I feel qualified to attest to the following.
Starting with clean rustic cabins set off by a curtious, friendly, helpful atmosphere can
only help set the climate
for a positive pleaserable experience. Couple that with the mystique of the great Maine
North Woods and a chance
at an over 200 lb dressed buck and I'll tell you thats a combination thats hard to beat.

Since 1975, I have been staying at Barnett’s Cabins in Silver Ridge, Maine for both
hunting and fishing. Over the years,
we have bagged bucks up to 223 lbs. dressed and usually score 60% of the time on bucks
each season. Both Mike Barnett
and his dad, Bill Barnett, have been very helpful in directing us to great hunting and
native brook trout fishing.
We have caught brookies up to 15” long in streams and deadwaters. The
Barnett’s, both registered guides, are true friends
and great people. I will continue to hunt and fish with them as long as I am

each year at new locations I will always return to Maine and Mike as the one constant

After hunting and fishing these cabins provide great comfort and warmth. The pictures on
every wall provide flashbacks to
the 1950's. The owner is pleasant, agreeable, and knowledgable. You will not
experience a better fellow. Great hunting
