Baxter State Park is located just a short distance away from our cabins.  You can spend a day in the Park, climbing Mount Katahdin (Maine's highest peak at 5270' at the peak), hiking on the 180 miles of trails, fishing in the prestine waters undisturbed by man or just a day trip driving in the North entrance of the Park in Patten, Maine and coming out in Millinocket, Maine.

"Leaf Peeping" in the area is a great fall activity as the many hardwood trees abound with there beautiful colors.   The bright colors of the maples make a drive in the area something you will always remember.
